Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data Jutsuu Minds collects through Folio, why, and the choices you have, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, organisation name and a securely hashed password.
- Brand kit: the logo, brand name, phone number, email and website you enter to appear on your PDFs.
- Your files: the PDFs you upload and the designed PDFs we produce.
- Billing: your plan, subscription status and Razorpay payment and subscription IDs. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay; we never see or store them.
- Usage and technical data: pages converted, timestamps, IP address and error logs, used for limits, security and support.
How we use it
- To provide the service: convert your files, add your branding, show previews and let you download results.
- To run your account: sign-in, email confirmation, password resets, plan limits, billing and receipts.
- To keep the service secure and to fix problems.
We do not sell your data and do not use your files for advertising.
AI processing
To decide how parts of a document should be styled (for example, whether a line is a heading or a list item), we may send short excerpts (up to 80 characters of individual lines) and formatting details to Anthropic's Claude API. The API returns style labels only. Excerpts are processed under Anthropic's commercial terms for API customers.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run Folio, under contracts that limit their use of your data: our hosting provider, Razorpay (payments), our email delivery provider, and Anthropic (AI labelling, as above). We may disclose data when required by law.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms against forgery. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded and designed files: deleted automatically after your plan's storage period.
- Account and billing records: for as long as your account is open, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, access to production systems is restricted, and backups are protected.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate a person to exercise these rights for you. Email our grievance officer, Prakhar Jindal, at prakharjindal8@gmail.com. We respond within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Folio is meant for educators and organisations. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children under 18 without verifiable parental consent.
Changes
We will email you about material changes to this policy before they take effect.
